The Robots in Japan, I've Never Heard of It, but I'll Give It a Try.

The Amazon app on your phone gives you QR code to pick up wherever you want and leave. All of the cameras are just seem to know precisely what you're picking up and stealing. I don't think there's this in Japan yet, but I'll give it a whirl if I see one. If it's going to work anywhere, it'll be a shock country where people don't want to talk to other people. But we've heard this sort of thing before, like the cafe in Shibuya staffed by robots who are controlled by people who are disabled or bedridden.
