No nineteenth century european ever claimed that the inuit of north america's far north were, in fact, the master race. Social darwinism was a pseudo science to give an air of scientific inevability to colonialism and race based oppression. And i think you can tell i don't care for it. After world war too and the nuremberg trials, where notsy war criminals defended their eugenics programmes by arguing they weren't all that different from similar programmes in colonial states,. these ideas fell out of favor in the world of academia.
