In Ireland people often talk about the Ring of Kerry road trip. You can drive around the coast mostly and a little bit inland. And it'll take you just a couple of days. In British English we tend to use the word motorway which again is a very wide road with more than one lane. So maybe two or three lanes you can overtake, you can pass other cars and you can go fast on a motorway,. It tends to be used more in American English and also in American English you might hear the word freeway.
