There are over 2 million people that are incarcerated in America. A person with mental health issues is three to four times more likely to end up in jail or prison at some point in time in their life, right? We have over 30% of people that are currently incarcerated are struggling with not just mental health issues, serious, what is diagnosed as serious mental health issues. They don't get these resources. I see them on the streets here and in New York. You cannot just lock them away and put them away forever. That only exacerbates it. People have to, you can't just, every little thing, you can’t just lock people up for the rest of their lives
