The Right to a Companion

Peter asks, who can be a companion to help represent employees in workplace formal processes. Can an employer legally reject a chosen companion? Peter: The right for the compliment is found in section 10 of the Employment Relations Act. It's a very high bar before you can stop the companion being there and I'm really saying whether extraordinarily aggressive or violent or there is some form of what we would raise the bar to being harassment of the distancing officer or the disciplining officer.
