How to Describe Your Own Internal Experiences
So first observe, then describe what you're observing. You can practice scribe of your own internal experiences as well as external experiences. This skill will come up in later episodes when we talk more about interpersonal effectiveness. So let's move now into the skill of participate, which kind of pulls these together. And it's kind of the core essence of mindfulness in some ways. It really does make people feel a lot less defensive and allows you to communicate clearly what you're actually noticing.
