There are no required minimum distributions or RMDs in a Roth IRA. With traditional pre-tax retirement accounts, you don't have that option. You've got to begin taking RMDs at age 73 and that's the new limit starting this year. And by the way, in a decade in 2033, that gets bumped up to 75.
