And I was hit by a wall of stories and opinions masquerading as news stories whose argument in essence was that the GOP is screwed. But then I look at the polling, at least at the moment, and I don't see many signs of it," she says. She asks how correct are those fear-mongering pieces? Are they partially correct? Are they completely wrong? How should we think about the environment now with those two disparate sets of claims?
