Lucy and Desi: A Pioneering Business Woman

She was known as a very pioneering business woman. And I don't know if that affected how you managed your career. That was never part of my makeup. But she became that when she and Desi parted. When they got a divorce, she realized that the scripts weren't good. She had to be able to confront the way that Desi had. So we became very close friends. Every year on my birthday, she would send me flowers. This morning, I was 56 years old. It was my birthday and I turned on the television. And she had died on my birthday.
