Salkan: I've become a big fan of creating incentives and opportunities for students to master material they don't initially get. We did a survey and one of the factors that created the most anxiety in our students was when they felt like the class was moving on, Salkan says. "We're just going in seemingly disconnected areas such that if you got left behind, you wouldn't even really know because then we just moved on to something else"
