Anglo-Saxon Men and the Laws of Inna
There was limited intermarriage and sexual contact between the two groups of people for about the first couple hundred years. Where there was sexual contact, it was generally Anglo-Saxon men with British women. Don't forget that we're in an era where daughters were being married off or just given away for strategic and economic reasons. And if the Germanic dynasties that first came over were higher in status then they could well have been reluctant to marry their daughters off to the lowly natives.
