The Power of Imageless Thought
Scholes went and got a PhD in psychology at the University of Leipzig in 1932. His thesis was about a thing called image list thought, basically how to provoke people to do things you want them to do that they might not even think about without them even thinking about it. What sounds like mind control to me? Sounds like, yeah, exactly. It kind of goes back to Edward Bernays and his 1928 book propaganda and Goebbels tried to hire him to help the Nazi machine. But I'm fascinated to connect the historical dots too because what I'm seeing now is psyops but on the internet and in massive scale with using people's private data for manipulation.
