Introduction
Operation Gunnarside was a raid on the hydroelectric power plant in Telomark, Norway. The Allies believed that Germany might be winning the race to building a nuclear bomb and this was one way to stop that progress in its tracks. Ray Mears is world-famous TV presenter and author who reconstructed the raid for 60th anniversary of attack. He also jumped out of a plane and survived some of the conditions those original heroes would have faced as well.
