The History of Chess

Lasker was of course a tremendous player and he also excelled in a lot of other fields but I think his views on chess history are really well have damaged brought a complete false picture in into the world. Lasker has been for the largest part responsible for the way we look at history and for Zukutotis that was very sad because Lasker had Steinitz who was his hero. So if you read Lasker I think you cannot take it very seriously but somehow everyone has taken the Lasker very seriously.
