The Russian Green Deal and the Food Crisis in the World
World waking up to severity of situation regarding Russia's decision to pull out of the Green Deal and conduct strikes on Ukraine's grain silos. European Union's foreign policy chief, Borrel has said that Russia is responsible for a major global food supply emergency. US wheat futures rocketed by 8.5% yesterday their biggest daily rise since just after the invasion of Ukraine last year. Germany says it is working with allies to ensure that Ukraine is not left to rot in silos after Russia pulled out of the deal.
