Wacking phoenix has a vibe about him that amnis discomfort. And it suits this role very well, because it seems like the character's point is, at least he's not comfortable in his own skin. The way i read him, is someone who has claimed to see jesus, and probably didn't, but at least believes that they did. He's broken too, as a characterit ting like heis just something bout the war. We never find out what has just shattered his sense of meaning and purpose, and he doesn't know whyit's alive. I think actually, i is somewhat bred for you, tea i tisid tis.
