How Do Bees Perceive Pain?

Bees used learned cues to make decisions about which feeders to visit. sucro solution can't be smelled by bees, and the heat from the feeders didn't spread to other feeders. So bees could only know about the contents of a feeder by landing on it. The results are at least consistent with the notion that ther might be a form of pain perception.
