Michael Flynn was a widely respected intel guy. He's credited with really sort of transforming the intelligence world. And on that sort of reputation, he moved up the ranks and became part of the leader of the Defense Intelligence Agency. That is something that most people don't do and they, the vast majority of them do so honorably. But there's a secondary level of stolen valor that exists with folks like Trump who use his title as a way to bolster their own BS.
