i've not been able to get this song out of my mind since that night. Can any one name one line of the fourth verse of hark the herald angel sing? It is maybe, maybe, for me, my favorite line of any christmas song of all time. Born that man no more may die. When the angels announced the birth of jesus, what they were announcing was a mission. And the mission was that christ was coming to defeat death. His birth was about his death. We cannot celebrate his birth without celebrating his death because his birth was about defeating death.
