The Importance of a Strategic Strategy

I talked to so many people who lie on different ends of the spectrum in terms of how much they like to plan everything and have a very well-articulated strategy. And you seemed like very much like a planner where you did things in sort of a textbook way. You were selling a product before you really had the product. That's so cool that you guys were able to approach it that way. How long did it take you as an entrepreneur to realize that that's the way to go?
