The former president of the United States could be charged with federal crimes if he runs for office again. Trump is expected to enter a plea on Tuesday and then there will be pretrial wrangling over many months likely. If some more indictments do come down, I think there will be some discussion among Republicans about whether this guy too much of a liability to take to the general election.
