The Unorthodox Birth of Aphrodite

Aphrodite was born on an island in the not yet named Aegean Sea. She lived a peaceful, beautiful life among humans before being adopted by the King of the Gods. Aphrodite knew there were others out there similar to her - but there was only one her. War was the antithesis of what she was and so she let the Titans and the Olympians have their war.
