The Art of Communication

Art is communication you are communing with someone who could even be long dead but if you get an emotional reaction out of some art that you're engaging with, that person who's long dead has made you feel what they felt now. Wittgenstein talks about how sensation is inevitably private and yet the expression of sensation is public so these become in some way the expression then the word, the signifier that you're using is conveying not anything about your subjective experience but merely a series of conventions around that subjective experience. So all of these problems still obtain with what I'm trying to communicate to you right nowthat being said, I think art in some sense I'll even get a little religious
