Neture says all religions are founded on cruelty. All of this is a manifestation of the will to power. The worst things that you can find human beings doing, the worst tortures, the worst cruelties, were done in mediaeval christian communities. This was christianity in action. This was not anti christianity. This was the christian religion. There is cruelty underneath this attempt to invert cruelty and replace it with pity. But he also tells the story forward, though there's something underneath it.
