Episode 4: The Mycenaeans
Casting Through Ancient Greece
00:00
Mycenaean Greece - A History of Ancient Greece
The Mycenaeans were in control on Crete, and many other islands in the Aegean. Evidence shows a common shared culture for probably the first time. There is also evidence showing that the MyCenaeans had settlements in Anatolia. It seems very unlikely that the three political centres could exist in such close proximity. The political structure of MycenAEan Greece is not fully understood just yet as the Linear B tablets are too fragmentary to draw conclusions.
