How to Train for a Cross England Trip
When you're training, and also when you're walking too, I recommend that you vary the load. What this means is that sometimes you use just your shoulder straps on the backpack. No hip belt. Just your shoulders only. Use that for a while whenYou're walking. Eventually that'll start to feel really tired. That's when you get the hip belt around your hips. So now your hips have the weight of the pack instead of your shoulders. It lets your shoulders rest a bit. And you can alternate. This way the load, the weight, is not always on one part of your body. You can rest different parts of your body by moving the weight around. Means change
