Anxiety and the History of Panic Disorders
Therapists need to have a greater sensitivity to than they here and now. For example, in our research, weill find ether the most anxious people also have a past history of anxiety or depressig disorders. It could be that this is simply another expression of a long standing disorder. One strategy works well with one patient, one doesn't work so well with another. They all have the same kind of theoretical a so i think it's a question of being able to to pick and choose. Sometimes standard beck style cogniv therapy is all you need. And then of course there's the mind. Mindfulness strategies can be helpful in experiential strategies.
