Greg Waldman: I came to know you then and learned a lot about your magic ways of making things happen. He says getting 50 Democrats to agree on something is not the easiest thing to do. Waldman: The bill ended up being something smaller in scope, but there's nothing to prevent Congress from coming back and reinvesting in programs that are working well at some point in the near-term future. "I don't think we've sacrificed too much for climate change," he adds.
