Is There a Need for Universality?
The weakest part of your argument to me is the need for universality with respect to this evolution. Because there's a diminishing return on the collective intelligence of the system as a function of more scale. And because that is a fundamentally inexorably rivalrous m i just, i don't think you're going to get rid of all rivalry i just see opportunities for decreasing it. I see opportunities for changing the culture. The conditioning gives us ways to work with things like very different value systems. But i can't have a very different value system while still incentivizing an equation economically where the whale is worth a lot dead and nothing alive. So that'll have to take more time.
