Historically, humans have eaten or ate a lot more potassium to salt. That has a benefitial, beneficial, or a protective effect on blood pressure. In modern times, we've done the opposite. We less potassium and more sodium. And that, at least what i read, seems to have a negative pressure on ourcady vascula.
