Jackson, Mississippi Running Out of Water

Pumps at the main water treatment plant in Mississippi's capital city failed monday. Flood waters had inundated the plant, and they don't have enough water to fight fires or flush toilets. Officials were working to distribute cases of bottle water to the city's roughly a hundred thousand residents. The city's public schools shifted on line t Tuesday because of the water shortage.
