The Secret of Cloning

I've never gone for the idea of biological clones so there's this guy Donald Marshall that's spoken a lot about it he's claimed that he's been part of this secret government program to clone people. One question I would have is where does the soul fit into this because as living sentient beings we come with a soul not just a physical body. If you've created another physical body does the soul from the original go across to that in which case the soul has been split which I don't accept can happen. These are very deep and metaphysical questions but I've never really accepted the idea that you can clone somebody in that way  for me it's either actors playing the role or CGI
