The Church's Role in Promoting Neighborliness

I think we need to sing and pray and talk this language. I'm reminded of a passage from 2 Timothy where Paul reminds Timothy not to have a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power and love and self discipline. And he also talks about that, you know, he has been giving these gifts equipped by the Holy Spirit within him. So I wonder in many regards, there's God given tendency towards compassion and charity is something within us. We really need policies that will devote our resources and our energies in very different kinds of ways.
