The Complex Feedback Loop

You always watch movies or TV with just a threshold level of, is this believable? And at the same time, we're feeding sci-fi. I'm discussing in a book here that sci-fi feeds us and sci-fi feeding itself. There was an interesting reference there to how, you know, real time moves on. But also in the real world, because early on in the book, you talk about how buttons disappeared from the interfaces on the ships,. And so they had these flat layers.
