The data showed that populations were increasing at a much higher rate in flood prone areas than elsewhere. Some of the places where we saw the largest increase were in southern asia and southeast asia, india, dangodas southere and africa. This precise geographical information could target interventions for floods. And with a change, things are only going to get worse.
