Is There a Difference Between a Data Lake and a Relational Database?

There's a lot of machine learning that doesn't work well off of a relational database. Data mesh is more about organizational change than about technology. And then there's just some missing features that even though we have Delta Lake or not in in a data lake house and there are things like referential integrity and some workload management but they're still not 100%.
