The polarization in this country is astronomical. We're getting our media and our information from two different echo chambers, and we're not talking to each other. So the rise of polarization is going to happen, and the rise extremism n happen because of polarization. An investigation by the washington post and pro public ave found that facebook groups blew up in the days before the capital riot with at least 650 thousand posts attacking the legitimacy of joe byden's victory. Between election day and january sixth many of those posts called for executions or other political violence.
