When children are taught how to do it, they lose interest. And so there's this, you have to teach them to kind of learn indirectly. Reading is something that has only been around for a few thousand years because someone invented writing and speeches the task that's more natural. The model here was basically learning to read us like learning a spoken language when children learn their first language.
