In 1 Kings, Rehoboam leads the people of Judah into incredible sin. His son Abijah is going to be okay in the sense that he's going to turn back to the Lord. In Second Chronicles, we get the story of how Asa took away the foreign altars and ashramim. And even his mother was removed from being queen mother because she had made an abominable image for Asa Ra.
