Why Should We Rake Interest Rates?

If money is leaving your country, then you would expect the interest rate to go up. The fact that those two things don't compute is actually a sign that our current system is broken. When there's when you have a em when money's leaving the economy, it means that goods are cheaper elsewhere. And if you raise interest rates, it actually slows down economic activity domestically. But we've never had the political environment, of the political will to be able to pay that deflationary price to make us price competitive. It's largely because we have to get dollars out of the world, because of breton woods.
