Researchers have grown plants in moon, regalith, a fancy word for dirt. Scientists borrowed dirt from nassau that astronauts brought back from the moon during the apollo 11, 12 and 17 s. Being able to grow food on the moon could make farther and longer space missions a whole lot easier.
