How to Write a World-Building Story

World-building does take work, but you know, it's awesome. It's the reason that we're reading science fiction and fantasy rather than other genres. That said, as I often say, character comes before world-building. A fantastic story with great characters, but terrible world-building is still going to be a book you want to read.
