The Origins of the Indo Europeans
The original indo europeans were probably a patriarchal society, where male authority and male blood lines controlled. The evidence reveals that these people adopt ed a herding economy based around cattle, sheep and goats around 52 hundred b c. And the burial evidence indicates the first appearance of tribal chiefs, or village chiefs, a short time later. In an upcoming episode, we're going to put all these pieces together and try to determine exactly who these original Indo-Europeans were.
