In invertebrates, in all vertebrates certainly, there's usually an internal set of systems that support that movement. In a monkey brain it has viscera motor maps in it. That would include what we call viscero motor, which means the beating of your heart and the innor contraction of your lungs and so on. So when i say, you know, that the brain is regulating the body, i really mean everything motor about the body.
