The Evolution of Primates

When we talk about apes, we're really referring to gorillas, chimpanzees, orangutans and us. Historically, monkeys and apes were very distinct and separate things because of the way which classification was done. But in the 21st century, when we've got a much more sophisticated understanding of taxonomy, how we classify species, what is it that allows me and you to say with confidence that chimps are monkeys? And that's the actual evolution of the primates.
