String concatenation is a form of combination. Is that also applied to non- numerical values? Yes. Maybe what you're doing is you're combining strings together. You might instead do some kind of a comparison. An example here might be Boolean values. One plus one doesn't give us 11 unless you're writing jobs. We get a new number two that's some sort of like combination of the two.
