Twitter Follower Count - 40,000 Followers Means 100,000 Followers

Twitter now is mostly used by people who are there to broadcast to what they perceive as an audience. But also with Twitter, 40,000 followers doesn't mean 40,000 people are going to see a tweet. The chances of them ever seeing you are probably about 10 to 20%. So these numbers in social media in general tend to be fabrications within our imagination rather than an actual indicator of anybody's level of gibbous shit.
