The Phenomenology of School

Phenomenology is a slippery concept for me. I often get confused with it and I've taken the time to read Hoos' role in Merlot Ponti. Then you get into like, feminist phenomenology and then suddenly it becomes a whole thing about embodiment and the body. And I'm thinking, holy God, what the hell does Illich mean by that here?
