The Mindset Shift of Accountability

As a leader you're going to apply consequences, but really understanding that you can't force someone to do something. You might create a consequence that's so distasteful that they choose to do it and that's where the collateral damage comes in. I try and connect the dots between how they succeed here in the role area and how that enables a successful life for them. It's a much more partnership role if you will,. then it is a boss subordinate or someone in authority sort of learning it over folks.
