Bisexuals get ostracized from other folks and then from within the community. A generally speaking, my belief is that internalized homophobia and shame about feminity are what drives people to not like bisexuals. If you have spent years of your life feeling other or bad or gross for being effeminate, it's going to make you do a number of things including lash out at those who oppress you.
